First, we got some rain. (Thanks, Mother Nature.)
Then came the snow clouds…
…but no snow, not yet.
Thanksgiving Day sunset.
Does this look like snow?
Because it ain’t. It’s bugs.
Bugs and more bugs. (Cover your nose!)
I’m just hanging around, waiting for payday, so I can buy some weed. One day, Medicare will cover weed. Seriously. But I can’t wait for that day.
Superman and Superwoman! š
You take great photos and your blog is awesome.

Thank you, kind sir. I knew you had good taste when we both agreed that shells were the best pasta. š

Well, it looks like I should properly introduce myself, because my name is not painkills2. Hi, Trav, I’m Johnna. It’s nice to meet you. š

Saturn is my home planet, but I was raised in Houston, TX. I moved to Albuquerque to join this state’s Medical Cannabis Program, which, unfortunately, sucks. One day, I hope to end up in Colorado. Where you at?

I’m in New York. I hear Colorado is nice. Ever been to NY?

No, but I’ve been to New Jersey, does that count? š

I usually do my blog visiting in the mornings, so I’ll be by soon. Do you know if the weed in New York is any good? Also, just a warning, if you don’t adore chocolate, we might not be able to be friends. š

Besides your smiling face, tell me why I should visit New York? Doesn’t it look like the movies? Plus, I’ve heard that people in NY are kinda rude. Living in the fast lane. I’m from Texas, where Southern charm rules, and the 10 months of summer forces people to move really slow. š

Lol. Well if my smile isn’t enough. Lol. There are some really beautiful areas and outside of the city the pace is different. I don’t live in the city. The area I live in is much closer to what you are used to. I live in an area called Poughkeepsie. Trust me it’s not that bad, but I get where u are coming from.

I’d say you live in a small town, which, believe me, is nothing like Houston. Houston is so big, even though I grew up there, I still got lost. (Occasionally.) And I was kinda kidding about things moving slow in Texas. Driving on the freeway can be a terrifying experience, if you’re not in bumper-to-bumper traffic. But people are nice there, unlike in California, where I lived for a couple of years. Talk about snobs. And they made fun of my accent. š

I don’t mind driving when there’s no one else on the road. I don’t trust other drivers. And when you reach my advanced age, you too will have been to just as many places. But I won’t suggest California because earthquakes. I was unlucky enough to experience one while I lived there and I didn’t like it at all.
Do you have Dairy Queen in Poughkeepsie? Have you ever had a Dilly Bar? What about Mexican food? In Houston, at my local grocery store, I could get freshly made flour tortillas. Yum. Almost as good as pasta. š

Yes, we have a Dairy Queen. I’ve never had a Dilly Bar. It sounds amazing. What is it? I love Mexican food. We have a lot of Mexican Restaurants here. š

A Dilly Bar is soft serve vanilla ice cream, surrounded by a chocolate (cherry, butterscotch, Heath) coating, on a stick. A Buster Bar is the same thing, but it’s bigger and has nuts and chocolate fudge in the middle. Oh my, I think I’m getting dizzy…
I didn’t have Mexican food when I was growing up. I didn’t try it until I moved out. Flour tortillas, refried beans, Mexican rice, chili con queso… Yes, I’m definitely feeling dizzy. I love food, can you tell? š
