Beautiful photos – but almost post-apocalyptic. When did you take these that there were NO people around? Another thought that struck me – BOY does that look like a l-o-n-g walk from parking to help’s door for anyone in chronic pain!

Thanksgiving weekend. There were a few people there, but mostly I had the campus to myself. I only take a couple of walks a week, so I have plenty of time to prepare and then to recover. And I limit myself to an hour or so — after that, I usually have to go to the bathroom anyway. 🙂
Aha – that makes sense. And BOY can I relate. Even though I don’t have to be careful about pain, I, too, have one of the world’s pea-sized bladders – lol.
So walks with Tink are either shorter than he would prefer, or have to pass by places with public bathrooms (that allow me to bring my pup inside – like our “Cheers Bar”).

They’ve torn up Central for some project. It’s a mess down there. And last Saturday, there were actually parking cops everywhere. Sorry, but I don’t pay for parking. I turned around and left the campus in my rear view mirror. 🙂
Good grief, I don’t blame you! Do they still have that one-screen movie theater? I can’t remember what it was called. I saw “Lone Star” there and accidentally ruined the end of “The Usual Suspects” for myself. I remember it was on Central too.
Yes, I think I’ve seen that movie theater. It has some interesting architecture. I hope it can survive this project, which looks like it could take years.

Brings back memories! My ex worked on campus 20 years ago when we met; I used to drive down there and pick him up every day. ❤
