  1. I think of Key and Peele’s “Turbulence” sketch whenever there’s turbulence in flight. It replaces anxiety with chuckles.

I am so stoked for this movie.

        • John Wick is the name of the movie. Keanu Reeves is an ex hitman whose wife was sick and died and all he has left that he cares about in life is his dog. Then some thugs kill it and bring out his inner hitman again 🙂

        • I just watched the preview, looks good. I’m gonna have to check it out in the middle of the night when I have more internet power. Did you see him in Sweet November with Charlize Theron? Great movie. Well, he’s made so many great movies, but The Matrix trilogy will always be my favorite. Thanks for the info. 🙂

        • Is there something to like about John Wick besides Keanu Reeves (and the cute dog)? I just watched about 45 minutes of that movie, and while I now understand the parody a lot better, I think I just wasted 45 minutes of my life. Bang! Bang! Bang! The End. 🙂

I’ll tell you what, Keanu is no Jason Bourne. I tried to find something to like about the movie… The dialogue? No. The story? Not so much. The cinematography? Meh. The music? Meh. Sorry, this was not one of Keanu’s finest moments.

        • Keanu, in my opinion, is not the best actor. And definitely no Jason Bourne! Watching movies is the only thing the hubby and I do “for fun,” so movies either get one of two categories (we watch too many) totally sucked or good. Maybe a few get “really good.” I’m sorry about the 45 minutes wasted. I hate when I feel that way. Let’s see… that wrestling movie was one of those. Just absolutely terrible. Okay, try this movie. I need to redeem myself here 🙂 Very good movie: Whiplash.

        • Yes ma’m, that’s an excellent movie. After I watched it, I read a few reviews, and it seems it’s a rather dramatic portrayal of the truth. I’m like, surely teachers don’t abuse their students that way? And they all sit around and take it… because music? I read an opinion from a drummer who said that he’d never seen another player actually bleed from playing the drums, nor had he seen that kind of physical abuse inflicted by professors in music colleges. Thank goodness! Hollywood, you gotta luv it. 🙂

        • My dad majored in music. I know he said he had some bad teachers. But not bad as in violent. He did work his butt off though, playing four hours a day. And I complained about practicing piano 30 minutes 😉

        • I used to practice gymnastics for 3 or 4 hours a day, but that was when I was young. I don’t see how anyone could keep that kind of focus for very long, unless what you love turns into your job. Lovely thought, right? To get paid to do something you love. 🙂

        • I have some VERY ADHD boys. Two who are autistic. The three oldest boys, 14, 11 and 6, (14 is autistic other two ADHD) can’t focus AT ALL. but then they have crazy focus where everything is tuned out. So either everything goes in and they can’t focus on anything, or nothing goes in and they focus on one thing. For hours. My 14 year old can’t sit and do a math assignment but he can read books and not hear his name. So yes i get it!
