From what I’ve read, these drugs are somewhat successful in treating insomnia related to chronic pain. But I’ve also read that they turn you into a zombie. Everyone has to decide for themselves what is the best treatment, keeping in mind that our options are quickly dwindling. And really, sleep is one of the most important treatment options — and it’s free. So, if you feel the need to try one of these drugs, just be careful of the side effects.

I do actually ‘laugh out loud’ at the commercials for these drugs, whose caveat side effects that are listed by lawyers are so widespread and broadstroke…its a wonder any one takes anything. But, oh yeah, as a culture we don’t really listen either. I especially love, “in the case of accidental death, contact your physician immediately.” On it!

I do take this at night the lowest dose …sometimes every other night lol..I am just waiting for the urges to have sex kick in………………………lol….still waiting ask my better half lol….
I know we shouldn’t joke but I am poking fun at myself so I say it’s ok..I feel for anyone that has any of these side effects..It’s sad in this day and age with all we know about medications the side effects that they don’t take longer look at the make up of these drugs they just wait till a death happens ..
I try to stick to as few medications as possible even then I hate them all..sometimes I take myself off on my own then get yelled at the Dr for not complying ..well when I feel weird or something and it’s new I try to figure out what medication it maybe ..I hate medications……………………….

Yes, medications are a hassle, and I hated them, too. But sometimes they’re necessary, so you shouldn’t beat yourself up over having to take them. They’re just chemicals, they’re not evil.

lol….I hear ya gurl…but with all the side effects it does make it a scary thing to try…
I do beat myself up..I went to taking nothing at all most of my life hell I feel like you could shake my body in the morning it would sound like a pill bottle rattling lol
