By my second week with the Avacen equipment I was very familiar and comfortable with it. I went from using it once a day for 30 minutes, to twice a day for 30 minutes. My first week gave me one great result: sleep. To some people that may not seem like much, but if you suffer from insomnia like I do, then you understand that it’s a big deal...

AVACEn Seeks Crowdfunding to Study Fibromyalgia Therapy

AVACEN Medical is launching a campaign on Crowdfunder.com to help raise $2 million and support the development of an investigational therapy for fibromyalgia, as well as its application to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The company has decided to launch the campaign as a result of the encouraging results from previous studies…

The company has been dedicated to the development of a non-invasive therapeutic medical device and treatment method designed to carry heat to the circulatory system. Therefore, AVACEN conducted a 28 day follow-up study with 22 fibromyalgia patients, from which the company’s scientists observed the treatment ability in decreasing about 40% the pain, according to the widespread pain index, as well as the tender point counts to a level that is below what used for clinical assessment…

The treatment already received approval from the Institutional Review Boards of the University of California San Diego and the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, while the trials conducted to assess pre- and post-treatment reactions took place at the UCSD Pain Medicine Clinic in San Diego, CA, under the guidance of Tobias Moeller-Bertram, who is the principle investigator in the study.

Patients who suffer from fibromyalgia currently have access to very few therapeutic options, which are essentially comprised of Cymbalta (duloxetine), Lyrica (pregabalin), Savella (Milnacipran), and Elavil (Amitriptyline). However, even with these options, the relief of the pain, one of the most severe symptoms of fibromyalgia, is only achieved in only a small group of patients…

Our device is relatively expensive at $2,495… Besides the cost, our mechanism of action is a concept that people do not really understand… The AVACEN 100 works with the body’s natural adaptations…  It incorporates heat therapy and negative pressure to increase local circulation and infuse heat into a unique vascular network, located in the palm of the hand. Raising the blood temperature at this “single point treatment” (the palm) increases blood temperature throughout the body naturally via the circulatory system. This can benefit the entire body…

We have one cosmetic surgery clinic in Beverly Hills has every one of its patients use the AVACEN machine. We ship hundreds of mitts to this clinic every so often…

Our patents are very strong, and they are very broad allowing multiple therapeutic uses to alleviate symptoms associated with a circulatory, neurological, lymphatic, or endocrinal dysfunction, or any combination thereof…

Realize Your New Year’s Weight Loss Resolution with the Avacen Normalizer. This technological breakthrough helps restore your body’s balance and improve your metabolism through optimization of your core body temperature.

The Avacen technology has the ability to non-invasively raise or reduce your core body temperature through adjusting the temperature in the blood vessels found in your hands and fingers. You simply put your hand in a device and lightly hold on top the heating/cooling cone inside the machine. There is no pain, injections, or down time. After the treatment the brain is signaled to adjust the body temperature to a more optimal degree…

  1. I think sleep is the most important thing to keep me healthy, and prevents manic episodes. I wish it did help me control weight like they say, but maybe I would be a giant snuffleupagus if I didn’t sleep.
