Sure, I get lonely. Doesn’t everybody? But it’s not something that bothers me too much. It appears that my intractable pain eclipses many things that might otherwise bother me.

I feel much less lonely, having left Facebook. But it really is only one step: I yearn to be physically connected to the people around me. I think maybe my goal for 2017 will be to make more time and space for that.
