Yes, the CDC is on Facebook

http://www.facebook.com/CDC

I was just thinking about how much fun it would be to leave a daily message for the CDC. Something like…

Hey, CDC, my name is Johnna Stahl. I’ve suffered from intractable pain for 30 years. Your opioid rules may help a few people who could suffer from addiction in the future, but what are you going to do, right now, to help me and 40 million other chronic pain patients?

Hey, CDC, it’s me, Johnna from Albuquerque. I’m back again to remind you that everybody knows the drug war is a failure. Your opioid war is an even bigger failure. How many people have to suffer and die before you come to your senses?

Yes, it’s me again, Johnna from the Q. When will the CDC approve assisted suicide for chronic pain patients?

Hey, CDC, where did you find Kolodny from PFROP? Are all of your “experts” as ignorant as Mr. Kolodny about the treatment of pain?

Hey, CDC, how does it feel to ruin people’s lives? To make them feel like outcasts and drug addicts when they suffer from constant pain? What’s the CDC’s position on creating stigma? Seems like that should be against the law.

Does anybody want to join me in hounding the CDC? I don’t mind being the only one, but maybe I should wait until after payday (budday). I use too many swear words when I don’t have my bud. Just 3 more days…

    • I’m not on Twitter. I cannot express myself in 40 characters or less. But Twitter does seem to get all the attention from the media. I think I’ll start leaving messages for the CDC on November 3rd. Anyone and everyone is welcome to join me, or go ahead and start without me. 🙂

      • I’ll start leaving them messages ASAP as we with chronic non cancer pain or now those who can no longer function can’t wait another day. They’re now denying those on palliative care or those who had cancer, beat it and now have chronic pain the same medications needed to function. Let’s not forget to ask them about our right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Our human and civil rights have been stripped without them even asking anyone with CNCP what works or worked for them. The DEA instead continues to shut our doctors down while they’re NOT fighting the war on drugs by doing so. The CDC has now created another epidemic and war on those with chronic non cancer pain (CNCP) and hasn’t addressed the suicide epidemic nor any other health issue like alcohol, smoking, diabetes, heart attacks or any other reason people die. They have more that die from resistance to antibiotics every year by far than those who have a legitimate prescription for their opioid medication. It’s a proven fact that 80% of those who die with our opioids NEVER HAD A LEGIT SCRIPT! Many are dying from heroin laced with fentanyl so where’s the DEA when they’re needed? They are in cahoots allowing illegal medications, heroin, cocaine & many others to cross our borders in exchange for MONEY! Let’s stop the CDC DEA HHS & ALL government officials responsible for this issue and regain our rights. FYI we’re ready to start a class action suit for this reason please feel free to blog this as we need ALL IN CHRONIC PAIN who’s been affected in ANY way by either the CDC’s or DEA’s actions.

    • After thousands of posts, you find one typo and hound me about it. Geez, girlfriend, I can’t be perfect all the time. 😀 And people on Twitter don’t use the English language. It’s just an annoying stream of hashtags and Twitter language. I don’t have to be on Twitter to use a hashtag. If you Google a hashtag that I’ve used, I’ll eventually show up.

Twitter is a competition. Too much drama for me. 🙂

        • You’re right, it wasn’t a typo. I think I dislike Twitter more than I dislike Facebook. I don’t want to learn how to use either of them, but Facebook is sometimes good for comments. 🙂

        • We share a dislike then … i use it for networking and advertising my art. other than that its one giant head fuck! i spent half a day deciphering what was being said and then getting rid of ass pictures (literally) and blocking snapchat users … longest half day ever LOL

    • You’re not the first person who has suggested that I join Twitter. Thing is, you need a phone number to join Twitter and I don’t have a phone. However, feel free to tweet any of my upcoming posts about messages I leave for the CDC on Facebook. What do you think about this hashtag?

        • Okay, I confess, it’s only one of the reasons I don’t want to be on Twitter. I Googled the question of whether you need a phone number, but I was too lazy to look at more than a few links. Both of which said you need a phone number. I’m sure there’s a way around it, but… I’m old and tired. 🙂

        • I used up my ass pic for the year on the Halloween post. (One ass pic per year, that’s my rule.) The pumpkin’s ass wishing you a Happy Halloween. No, I don’t really celebrate Halloween, but I like to see other people celebrating and having a good time. Since I couldn’t afford to buy candy, I put a sign on my door that said: Sorry, Aliens Stole My Candy. Happy Halloween! 🙂

If you don't comment, I'll just assume you agree with me
