Stephen: Yes, I suppose so… Except of course that there’s no real painkiller available except the one that we get from the poppy, which includes morphine and heroin… We just can’t make a drug that does the same thing…

Just like in any state, there are areas that are cheaper, just not close to the ocean. I lived in Laguna Niguel for a short time, and I loved it, too. Perfect weather, low humidity. Always sunny. And then… the earthquake. And the aftershocks… You know, one day California will fall into the ocean. Sad, but true.

When I lived in Cali, I worked in Newport Beach, which is full of snobs. I’m glad they’re treating you right down there. Hope you’re having fun. 🙂

Oh yea! Is that by San Diego? They’re really friendly here except for one incident. This jerk got all mad and threw a tantrum at McDonald’s. He threw his food tray at everyone. The drinks spilled all over us. I had to tell Andre not to beat his ass. It wasn’t worth it! Besides that, people are super nice here!
