Back in 2014, I visited the Sandia Peak Tramway, which sits behind the largest building in the area, the Sandia Casino.

There’s a restaurant next to the Tramway, which I’ve eaten at twice. Not the greatest food (or service), but the chile con queso was pretty good.
I didn’t take a ride on the tram, since it costs $20 for about a 20 minute ride.
Tramway Boulevard runs parallel to the Sandia Mountains, and this is where I went apartment hunting yesterday. And where I found this artwork:
There’s a bike/jogging path that runs alongside Tramway Boulevard, and although the road itself isn’t very busy, there are always people taking advantage of the path.
I saw some other interesting art in the area, but my pain levels are pretty high, so this is the only one I stopped to take photos of. In addition to my usually high pain levels, I’ve done something to my back, probably from all the packing and carting junk to the trash. There’s some numbness in my right leg that makes me worry that it won’t always support me, but so far, so good (pretty much). But… it’s that kind of sharp pain that makes you lose your breath… and makes you wonder if the next breath will come.
I hope so much that you find a new place soon and that the landlord treats you more kindly. Terrific shots, btw.

Awesome pictures, as always 🙂
Ah crap, not the back! Sounds like a slipped disc to me. Aleve, ice, and lots of cursing is about all that I could do until the inflammation went down from the initial trauma, and none of it helped. At least it happened it while you were actually doing something, rather than say…sitting on the toilet. That should be good for your pride. Pain sucks. I want to steal it all from you.

I don’t have back problems very often, and up until this point, I’ve thought that my bubble butt has kept me from this additional pain. (Because my gigantic ass is supporting my back.) Even with my recent weight loss (about 5 pounds) since I received the eviction notice, I’m now thinking that my ass has gotten a little too big for my britches. Can’t be blamed on chocolate, so it must be the french fries. 🙂
Since I quit taking prescription medications about 4 years ago, I must admit there have been plenty of times when I wished I was still taking them. This is one of those times… 😦

Get well soon from your back pain and good luck with finding a new better home. Hugs 🐻
Ps. Wish I had a big butt – it would balance out the boobs! 😉

So, you want to be shaped like me, like a pear? Seriously, I’d rather have a big butt than big boobs, but it’s not like we get to choose. (Hey, that rhymes.) 🙂
