The survey further found that more than half of physicians have limited the access of Medicare patients to their practices, or are planning to do so, while one out of four physicians have already closed their practices altogether to Medicaid patients…
It is so hard to find a psychiatrist on medicaid in Michigan. No one takes it. I finally did get one, but if she doesn’t work out, that’s it. A handful of doctors take medicaid here. That’s so infuriating.

Bunch of bull, is what it is! I have UHC, and I am fine, but many of the friends I support cannot get, and need their Medicare!

This is what happens when you let doctors have a monopoly on medicine and the AMA gets to artificially limit the number of doctors admitted into medical school as well as control the character of those who get selected. It appears they value careerism, greed and ruthlessness as virtues in the selection process, because that seems to be the kind of doctors we are getting nowadays. The kind who can watch 450,000 Americans die every year due to incompetence of themselves and their colleagues and not say a damned thing about it
We live under a medical tyranny.
