      • You’re right, but I’m the type of person that keeps things forever.
        I still have cards, letters, and other mementos from friends and family members from when I was a teenager or some from younger years stored in boxes. When I look at and read them the memories and happy emotions feel stronger. I like having that strong connection 🙂

        • I think being poor gives me less room to enjoy connections through mementos, but of course I still do, to some extent. But it doesn’t make sense to need space and pay rent for these things. They’re things that I want, not things that I need. Our memories are part of what makes us who we are, so whether we have mementos or not, the memories are never lost. 🙂
