Dr. Fishbain and his colleagues explored the role that feeling like a burden plays in both acute pain patients (APP) and chronic pain patients (CPP) with regard to suicidality. Self-perceived burden (SPB) has been linked to depression and suicidality…
Crowded
“I would rather sit on a pumpkin and have it all to myself, than be crowded on a velvet cushion.” Henry David Thoreau
“Nobody goes there anymore. It’s too crowded.” Yogi Berra
“It’s never crowded along the extra mile.” Wayne Dyer
“Spare me the whispering, crowded room, the friends who come and gape and go, the ceremonious air of gloom – all, which makes death a hideous show.” Matthew Arnold
“There’s no such thing as a crowded battlefield. Battlefields are lonely places.” Alfred M. Gray
In Honor of Georgia O’Keeffe
I decided that if I could paint that flower in a huge scale, you could not ignore its beauty.
When you take a flower in your hand and really look at it, it’s your world for the moment. I want to give that world to someone else. Most people in the city rush around so, they have no time to look at a flower. I want them to see it whether they want to or not.
I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way – things I had no words for.
Wikipedia: O’Keeffe became increasingly frail in her late 90s. She moved to Santa Fe in 1984, where she died on March 6, 1986, at the age of 98. In accordance with her wishes, her body was cremated and her ashes were scattered to the wind at the top of Pedernal Mountain, over her beloved “faraway”.

Porcelain
“A nice book is just as valuable as a decoration as a beautiful porcelain urn – and, let’s face it, a hell of a lot more useful.” John Romaniello
