What about the intent behind the art or graffiti? Was the person expressing herself and her ideas, or was she only trying to damage and destroy? If someone tagged your front door with green neon paint, would that be art or graffiti?
For me it’s not an easy question. Every mark, every line and every expression act can be art/graffiti to me. Of course I would be surprised if someone put a tag on my door, maybe even sad or angry. But that act of destroy or art/graffiti would also make my mind spinning thoughts. Graffiti is partly about breaking silent walls or other surfaces that needs some life. I don’t like subway trains, but I can stand the trip thanks to the graffiti. The travel is an art exhibition to me.
To me graffiti is art.
