As I was longing into my AOL email this afternoon, I noticed that for a few seconds, the URL showed an https address, but the https was crossed out in red. Does anyone know what that means?
I did a little more checking, and Chrome says that AOL hasn’t updated it’s certification process. I don’t know what that means, but it seems to be a problem with AOL. And unless you have a paid subscription to AOL, you can’t reach them to ask what’s going on.
It means your browser detected something and doesn’t trust the site. I would run a virus scan.

I suggest switching to Gmail.

Do you know if I can send all my emails from painkills2@aol.com to a gmail account?

There may be a way to forward them. Do a search for how to.
