I really admire you for being friends again with the people who vanished from your life when you were ill. I couldn’t do the same. I’ve had two depression episodes, and I just can not continue as if nothing happened or changed, because it did change. They dissapeared when I needed support, and I can not count on their honesty any more. It really felt like I have a plague, you described that very well.
